MARMARIS-RHODES-SYMI-MARMARIS CRUISE ITINERARY

Starting from Marmaris, cruise to Datca where is still unspoilt by mass tourism. A traditional Turkey yacht cruise around the many beautiful bays enables you to enjoy exploring in your own boat without any of the responsibilities of sailing. Proceed to Symi that is a very friendly island with a population of only around 2,500. If you have never been to the beautiful and magical island of Symi, we must urge you to consider visiting our island. There are no high rise hotels, no villa complexes, just some small friendly hotels, holiday houses and studios which are traditional Symian houses, some of which were originally wealthy sponge merchant’s mansions, renovated with loving care, with modern conveniences which you expect when on holiday. Keep on your cruise to Rhodes (Rodi or Rodos in Greek), the beautiful island of roses. Rhodes is famous as the island of sun, sea and sand, the ideal place for vacations. It is the third largest Greek island and, officially, the sunniest place in the Europe. The City is among the finest, not only in Greece but in the whole of the Mediterranean. It is situated at the island’s most northerly point and ringed by sea on the east and west. Rhodes (Rodos in Greek) combines the cosmopolitan character of a contemporary city with the picturesque of the medieval town, which gives the impression of having been untouched by the passage of time.

BLUE CRUISE Day 1: Aboard the yacht, you will be greeted by our friendly and professional crew. Overnight and dinner on board in the Port of Marmaris. In the evening you can visit the lively town of Marmaris and covered bazaar area just by the Port.

BLUE CRUISE Day 2: After breakfast, our first stop will be Arap Island. Time for swimming and snorkel. After lunch, cruise leisurely along the magnificent coastline, stopping to explore the Bozukkale Loryma, a natural harbour with the ruins of Loryma scattered about the bay. There are magnificent views to be seen on the hike up to the almost intact ancient castle. Plenty of time for snorkeling and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Overnight in Bozukkale.

BLUE CRUISE Day 3: Travel on from Bozukkale Loryma further around the coast to the villages of Bozburun. This is where many of the traditional gulets, such as the one you are traveling on, are made. Bozburun was once also famous for its sponge diving. Explore and enjoy the villages at your leisure. Overnight at the bay nearby.

BLUE CRUISE Day 4: Cruise to Bencik – a lush, sheltered area that is surrounded by vast forests and greenery. There are wonderful photo opportunities here and plenty of time for swimming and relaxing. In the afternoon, travel on the Datca peninsula, where you will have the chance to wander around the quaint town of Datca, which remains relatively unspoiled. There are also the extensive ruins of Knidos on the windswept headland to be visited, a place untouched by modern civilization. Overnight in Datca.

BLUE CRUISE Day 5: While you are having lunch, your Captain will finish the yacht clearances from the Harbor Master and Custom offices to leave for Symi. Symi is a very unspoilt Greek Island, charming with traditional houses painted in warm pastel colors and built amphitheatrically around the Port. Dinner and overnight in Symi.

BLUE CRUISE Day 6: After a late breakfast in the view of the idyllic fisherman port of Symi, we will cruise to Rhodes in the early afternoon. During the day, you may visit the Old Town center, the Castle and the windmills of Rhodes. Throw your heart and soul into the town’s nightlife at night.

BLUE CRUISE Day 7: Start the leisurely trip back towards Marmaris, enjoying lunch on a near bay. Time for swimming and snorkel. Back to Marmaris for dinner and fun farewells.

BLUE CRUISE Day 8: Enjoy breakfast in Marmaris yacht port, you will leave the yacht with best wishes to see you again at our next yacht cruise in Turkey.
